Overview
Working with The Corner, I produced a series of social videos as part of their rebrand campaign. The project sat firmly in explainer territory, covering a fairly dry corporate subject, so the challenge was to inject energy, clarity, and personality without stepping outside their strict brand guidelines.
I collaborated closely with another motion designer, focusing primarily on building the visual elements needed for the animations. A large part of my role involved working in Cinema 4D, using toon shading to create a style that felt playful yet controlled. All elements were modelled from scratch, intentionally kept simple and minimal to ensure they worked cleanly across multiple formats and platforms.
Once the animations were complete, the project was expanded further. The visual language and graphics were repurposed into a printed book, extending the life of the work and adding extra value beyond the original motion deliverables. This approach helped the campaign feel more cohesive across touchpoints, while getting more mileage from the original design system.
